Sometimes called sugar waxing or sugar wax, sugaring is a gentle, effective and all-natural solution to unwanted hair. The sugar paste is made of just three ingredients: sugar, lemon juice and water.
These ingredients are made into a pasty clump, spread against the grain of the hair and removed towards the direction of hair growth. Unfortunately you can’t really escape the pain, but you are ultimately left with smooth and shiny skin.
So what is it about sugaring that makes different results than waxing?

We never double dip, and there are no sticks or strips. The sugar is applied by hand, against the grain of hair, and the warm (not hot!) paste seeps into the hair follicles to wrap around the hair shaft.
Then, we remove the sugar via a flicking motion in the same direction as hair growth to reduce ingrown hairs. This professional technique takes time and plenty of practice to master. After the treatment, the used ball of sugar is discarded in the trash.
